There are several important parts, accessories, and guidelines that must be followed in order to properly enjoy your session. SHISHA FLAVOURS That's why we decided to help you out by listing some top tips based on the most common questions beginners ask us when getting started.
Tip #1. An easy way to make your hookah session go smoother is to add ice water or simply ice itself at the bottom of your base. You will see a noticeable difference in smoke when applying this trick.
Tip #2. We highly recommend mixing different types of flavors together during your sessions. The key when doing this is to first place the strong flavors near the bottom of the bowl. This will intensify the strong flavors of the other flavors in your mix.
Tip #3. One of the most common mistakes we see beginners make when preparing their hookah for a session, is that they overfill the bowl. When filling the bowl, you want to break up the hookah with your fingers and spray it. Simply let it fall into place. If you start squeezing it in order to stuff more, you will choke the bowl. Without proper ventilation, the bowl will not heat properly and it will be difficult to draw through the hookah.
Tip #4. After you've packed your pot like a champ, it's time to mount the aluminum foil and there are some important guidelines to follow when doing so. First, the foil should always be positioned with the shiny side facing down. If you put the foil upside down, it will prevent the pot from receiving the proper heat from the coals. Once you've carefully wrapped the foil over the top of the bowl, the next step is to punch small holes. When you punch your holes in the foil, you want to start in the middle and work your way up to the outer edge. You want to spread the holes more and more as you move away from the centre.
Tip # 5. Another common mistake among beginners is how to place the coals. It is very important to place them around the edges on the aluminum foil. Avoid putting it in the middle. Additionally, it's worth noting that you should never move the hookah while the coals are on top of it, bad things happen to good people when you do.
As a last quick tip, you should get in the habit of cleaning your hookah and all its parts regularly. Sometimes things can clog, so it's never a bad idea to take everything apart and give it a quick scrub.
